Learn to distinguish a research summary, a topic redirect, and an urgent-help response, then choose the next step that fits.

Questions seeking personal instructions receive descriptions of what studies did and found. Questions outside peptide research may receive a short redirect, while messages suggesting danger receive emergency numbers or helplines. ChatPEP+1

Where does research end?

Test whether a tool separates a study summary from a personal health decision. The distinction matters because an individual decision involves medical history and an examination, while a research summary describes what a source reported. Keep those two jobs separate when judging an answer. ChatPEP

Look for the source, the group studied, and the stated strength of the evidence. When reading a study schedule, check who it concerned and how its investigators monitored it. For a personal health question, bring the cited studies to a qualified clinician who can weigh them against the person's history. ChatPEP+2

Where does shopping fit?

Test whether a tool's stated role is explaining evidence or selling a compound. For the research task, focus on what was studied, which side effects were reported, and how strong the evidence is. Keep requests for sellers separate from requests to examine a claim. ChatPEP

A useful rewrite of a shopping question is: “Which published studies support the claims about this compound?” Follow with “Which side effects were reported?” or “How does the evidence compare with that for another compound?” If a claim includes a study link, make that document the subject of the research question. Why did the topic change?

ChatPEP gives short redirects for questions outside peptides, health, and science, then invites a question about a compound or research topic. That includes unrelated tasks such as coding, trivia, history, and creative writing. The scope follows its stated role: peptide research and education. ChatPEP+1

Questions about its internal construction receive a brief boundary statement followed by an invitation to return to research. Requests to set aside its rules also receive a redirect. Questions about what ChatPEP can help with are welcome, while account, billing, and settings questions are directed to the help center. ChatPEP

For a question prompted by a sales claim, ChatPEP's documented research functions include explaining a compound and comparing the evidence behind compounds. It supports those explanations with sources. To examine a particular claim, paste its article or study link and ask what the document shows. ChatPEP+1

Why report studied amounts?

ChatPEP answers questions about amounts and schedules by reporting what the cited research used and who was studied. A Studied protocol card identifies a named source and lays out its reported schedule. The label marks a research summary rather than an individual recommendation. Questions about injection technique receive a pointer to a qualified medical professional for teaching, followed by discussion of the research. ChatPEP+1

Check the source because a clinical trial (a study in people), a drug label (official information about a medicine), and a community protocol (a schedule shared within a community) represent different kinds of evidence. A clinical trial is a study in people, with a schedule designed for its participants and monitored by investigators. A community protocol has not been tested in that same way. A useful follow-up stays with the source: “Who was studied, and which side effects were reported?” ChatPEP+1

When do medical resources appear?

ChatPEP provides research context for a conversation with a clinician by explaining compounds and comparing the strength of evidence. It also reports known interactions: ways a compound may affect or be affected by medications or health conditions a person has shared. Read an interaction warning as a report about a known concern, rather than a personal safety judgment. A clinician can weigh that research alongside a medical history and examination. ChatPEP+1

When a message suggests a medical emergency, possible overdose, self-harm, abuse, or an eating disorder, ChatPEP responds with emergency numbers or helplines. For a medical emergency, the response consists of emergency numbers. If someone is in danger now, call the local emergency number rather than waiting for a chat response. ChatPEP+1

How is uncertainty shown?

ChatPEP states how strong the evidence is, including when human data are thin. In Evidence at a glance, labels such as Mixed, Insufficient, and Uncertain accompany a short explanation of the findings. Treat those labels as part of the answer, and ask which studies support the assessment. ChatPEP+2

The reminder beneath the message box says, “ChatPEP can make mistakes. Check important info.” Selecting a citation shows the sources behind a passage, while the Sources button lists the material used for the answer. Compare an important claim with the original document, including whether the source supports the wording. ChatPEP+1

What follows a declined answer?

Match the next step to the kind of response received. A genuine research question can be declined by mistake, and rephrasing it usually works. The help center suggests naming the compound and stating clearly what the research question is. ChatPEP

  1. Name the research topic. Write the compound's name and the part of the research to be explained, such as reported findings or side effects. ChatPEP
  2. Replace the personal decision. Instead of requesting a personal recommendation, ask which studies were done, who was included, and what was reported. ChatPEP
  3. Separate account help. Use the help center for questions about a plan, billing, or settings. ChatPEP
  4. Report the right problem. For a mistaken decline, send the original question through the support contact form. For an inaccurate or unsafe answer, select Report safety concern beneath it and choose the reason that fits. ChatPEP+1

A declined message is excluded from the daily message count. The exchange stays in the chat like another message. A safety report sends the answer, the selected reason, and the surrounding chat to the team so they can review it in context. ChatPEP+1
