Safety

ChatPEP answers from the research and says so when the research is silent. Here is how it decides what to say.

Cited or silent

Every claim points to the study it came from. Where there is no study, the answer says so instead of filling the gap.

Research, never instructions

ChatPEP describes what a trial did and what it found. It does not tell anyone what to take, how much, or how.

Checked against you

Medications and conditions you share are weighed against every question, and a known interaction is flagged before the answer.

The interaction check

Tell ChatPEP once what you take and what you manage. From then on, a question about a compound is checked against it, and a known interaction comes back as a warning above the answer.

No warning does not mean a combination is safe. It means nothing known was found.

What ChatPEP knows about you

I'm on insulin for type 2 diabetes. Is semaglutide a problem?

Interaction Warning

Semaglutide + Insulin

Adding semaglutide to insulin raises hypoglycemia risk, and case-control data identify insulin co-use as the principal hypoglycemia risk factor.

An answer that fits you is still not advice.

What ChatPEP will not do

Diagnose
ChatPEP knows only what you tell it. It cannot examine you, order tests, or weigh your full medical history, so nothing it says is a diagnosis.
Tell you what to take
Ask what dose to use and ChatPEP describes the doses studies used. It does not turn them into instructions for you.
Tell you something is safe for you
An interaction warning flags a known interaction. No warning does not mean a combination is safe.
Help in an emergency
If you or someone else is in danger right now, call your local emergency number, such as 911 in the US and Canada. ChatPEP cannot call anyone, see where you are, or send help.

Your data

The privacy policy says what is stored and who can see it. The data controls in Settings say what you can change, including whether your chats help improve ChatPEP.
