Marketing emails
Updated Oct 16, 2026 · Applies to Web, iPhone, and Android · All plans
Turn Marketing emails off or on in Settings, under Notifications. Turning it on also undoes an unsubscribe link you clicked earlier.
What marketing emails are
ChatPEP sends a few kinds of email beyond the ones you need to use your account:
- Release notes and product updates, when a new release or feature ships.
- A welcome, and a few tips in your first days.
- Notes about your plan, such as reaching the daily message limit or finishing an upgrade you started.
Sign-in codes are not marketing email. They arrive whatever this setting says.
Turn marketing emails off or on
On the web
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, select Settings, then select Notifications. Under Email, turn Marketing emails off or on.
On iPhone and on Android
Open the menu, tap Settings, then tap Notifications. Under Email, turn Marketing emails off or on.
Unsubscribe links
Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and your mail app may show its own Unsubscribe button. Either one turns Marketing emails off, the same as the switch. To start receiving them again, turn the switch back on.
If an email bounced because the address could not receive mail, ChatPEP stops sending to it, and this switch does not change that. Contact support if that happened to you.
