What the people you invite get

• They sign up and start on Free, like anyone else.
• There is no discount or bonus, and nothing on screen says who invited them.
• They appear in the Referrals tab of the person who invited them. See Share your referral link.

Partners are people ChatPEP has invited to share it with their audience. Someone who joins through a partner's link:

• Sees who invited them before signing up, along with the partner's offer if there is one.
• On the web, sees the offer right after signing up, with checkout attached. Continue without claiming skips it for now.
• Finds the partner's name in their sidebar. It opens the partner's page, with their links and posts, and the offer with Claim your offer while it is still available. On iPhone and on Android, Partner page in Settings opens it too. The Android app shows the page without the offer, so someone on Android claims it on the web. See Referral discounts at checkout.

• The ChatPEP team sets up each partner's offer. It is a discount on one paid plan, Research or Frontier.
• It is applied automatically at checkout for that plan, billed monthly. Other plans, and yearly billing, are charged the regular price.
• It lasts as long as the offer states: the first month, the first few months, or for as long as the subscription continues. After that, the regular price applies.
• It is only for people who have never had a paid subscription.
• If the partner's offer ends before it is used, checkout charges the regular price.

Referral discounts at checkout shows how the discount appears when you pay.

Whoever's link someone used can see, in Settings under Referrals, that person's display name (or their first name if they have not set one), the date they joined, and whether they have subscribed to a paid plan. They cannot see the person's chats, questions, or profile. Partners also see totals in their dashboard, without names.

• Open their link before you create your account. An account that already exists cannot be linked to a referrer later.
• In the iPhone and Android apps, you can type their referral code when you sign up with email: tap Continue with email, then Have a referral code?. The code is the part of their link after ref=.
• If you skipped a partner's offer, select the partner's name in your sidebar to find it again.
