Improved dictation
Speak your question and watch it appear as you talk, with compound names spelled the way the research writes them, in more than 30 languages and every browser.

Some questions are easier to say than to type. Dictation in ChatPEP now writes your words into the message box as you speak, spells the compounds you ask about the way the research writes them, and works in every browser.
Names spelled the way you mean them
Dictation knows the compounds ChatPEP covers and the ones in My Stack. Ask whether retatrutide causes more nausea than tirzepatide, or how MOTS-c compares with NAD+, and the box shows each name as it is written, hyphens and all. Check the text before you send, as you would with any dictation.
You can see it listening
Select the microphone and it turns into bars that move with your voice, and the message box reads Listening… until your first words appear. Stop talking and dictation ends by itself a moment later. If you are ready sooner, send right away: the message goes with everything you said.
More than 30 languages
Dictation understands more than 30 languages, from Spanish and Portuguese to Hindi, Japanese, and Arabic, and keeps up if you switch partway through a sentence. There is nothing to set.
What happens to your voice
Your speech is turned into text while you talk, and the recording is not kept. ChatPEP stores the text only once you send it, and treats it like anything you type.
Where it works
Improved dictation is on the web now, on every plan, and comes to the iPhone and Android apps in their next update. The full guide is in the Help Center.
