PEP 3 was rebuilt from the ground up. Every compound in the library was researched again for this release, and every claim PEP makes is cited with the study it came from, so you can open it yourself. It is live now on every plan, including Free.
Rebuilt from the ground up
Nothing in the new library was carried over from PEP 2. Every compound was researched again from the studies about it, and every document was written from that research alone. The result is a library where each answer stands on the papers for the compound you asked about, rather than a general summary of it.
Every claim, with its source
Each claim PEP makes is cited with the paper it came from, and each citation opens the study. Where a claim rests on animal or in vitro work, PEP says so before it says anything else, so a result in rats is never presented at the volume of a human trial.
Studied protocols, with their sources
A protocol card lays out how a named study or published protocol dosed a compound, phase by phase, with the source beside it. That is the research half of the question PEP answers in full. The personal recommendation is the half it never adds.
One question, in practice
We asked PEP 3 what the research says about BPC-157 and tendon healing. This is how its answer opened:
BPC-157 has a strong preclinical signal for tendon repair, but the human evidence is very thin. In rat Achilles tendon transection models, it improved histology and collagen organization, but biomechanical benefit was weaker than TB-500, and the combo did not add anything.
What the research supports most consistently is a repair biology signal: angiogenesis, fibroblast activity, collagen handling, and inflammatory downregulation. The gap is that there are no controlled human trials for tendon healing, so the tendon data are still animal-model evidence, not clinical proof.
In the app, each of those sentences carries its sources. Among the studies behind this answer are a 2026 head-to-head study of BPC-157 and TB-500 on Achilles tendon healing in rats and a 2025 systematic review of BPC-157 in orthopaedic sports medicine. The answer names the animal model, and it says where the human data stops.
By the numbers
- 200M+ peer-reviewed papers searched for every answer, so a question about an obscure peptide is worked from the same literature as a question about a famous one.
- 25,000+ citations in the rebuilt library, each one a link to the paper itself.
- 7,500+ studies behind those citations, gathered compound by compound.
- 1,750+ interaction rules, each tied to the research behind it, so a medication or a second compound in your profile is checked before you finish asking.
- 70+ years of published research, from 1952 to today, with close to half of the cited studies from the last five years.
- Every compound, covered in depth: what each is, how it works, how the studies dosed it, what they reported as side effects, what it has been studied alongside, how courses were structured, how it is reconstituted, what was monitored, where it stands legally, and the questions people ask most.
