Goals, conditions, and medications
Updated Oct 16, 2026 · Applies to Web, iPhone, and Android · All plans
Your goals, medical conditions, current medications, and the substances you ask ChatPEP to check against live in Settings: under Biometrics, and the substances under Interaction warnings. Goals steer which direction an answer takes, and the rest shape answers and the interaction warnings you see.
How ChatPEP uses them
- Primary goal: when a question has several reasonable directions, answers favor the one that serves this goal.
- Secondary goals: up to two more, read as secondary interests.
- Medical conditions and current medications: answers take them into account, and interaction warnings check the compounds a chat mentions against them. Warnings also check the items in My Stack. A peptide or a blend added to your medications moves to My Stack, where interaction warnings can check it. To check everything you have saved at once, ask in any chat. See Interaction warnings.
- Also check against: three switches, Alcohol, Cannabis, and Tobacco. Turn on any you use, and warnings check compounds against it too, the way they check your medications. All three start off.
Listing a medication or condition does not make ChatPEP recommend anything. Answers stay research, not medical advice.

Let the chat add them
When you say in a chat that a condition, medication, or goal applies to you now, or that you drink, smoke, or use cannabis, ChatPEP can add it to your profile, with an Undo button above the answer. When you say something no longer applies, it can remove it the same way. See How ChatPEP updates your profile from a chat.
What else Biometrics holds
Biometrics also holds your biological sex, height, and weight. Height and weight are used together, only when both are set. Biological sex is saved but not used in answers today. See What ChatPEP knows about you.
