Try ChatPEP

I did not get my sign-in code

Updated Oct 16, 2026 · Applies to Web, iPhone, and Android · All plans

Sign-in codes come from ChatPEP at an address ending in auth.chatpep.com, with the subject "Your code is" followed by the code. If yours has not arrived, check the address you typed and your spam folder, then ask for a new code.

Check the address

The code screen shows the address the code was sent to. If it has a typo, go back and type it again.

  • On the web: select Back.
  • On iPhone and on Android: tap Back at the top left.

A different address signs you in to a different account, so use the one your account was created with.

Look in other folders

Search your email for "Your code is". Check your spam or junk folder, and, in Gmail, the Promotions and Updates tabs. If you find it there, mark it as not spam, or add auth.chatpep.com to your safe senders, so the next one lands in your inbox.

Some work and school email systems hold or block automated messages. If you use one, ask its administrator to allow mail from auth.chatpep.com.

Ask for a new code

  • On the web: under "Didn't receive a code?", select Resend.
  • On iPhone and on Android: under "Didn't get it?", tap Resend.

The button counts down briefly before you can use it again. Each new code replaces the one before it, so use the code from the most recent email.

If the code does not work

A code works for a limited time, and the email says how long. After several wrong tries, a code also stops working. In either case, ask for a new one.

Sign in another way

If the address on your account is a Google account, such as a Gmail address, Continue with Google reaches the same account without a code. See Ways to sign in.

Still nothing

Contact support without signing in. Under What is this about?, choose Account and sign-in. Put an address that receives mail in Email for our reply, and name the address your account uses in your message. You can also write to support@chatpep.com.
