Change your email or date of birth
Updated Oct 16, 2026 · Applies to Web, iPhone, and Android · All plans
Your email address and date of birth are locked in Settings, so you cannot change them yourself. To change either one, contact support from your account and include the new value.
Why they are locked
- Email address: it is how you sign in. Sign-in codes are sent there, and ChatPEP keeps one account for each address.
- Date of birth: it confirms you are 18 or older, and ChatPEP uses your age to fit answers to you.
On the web, both appear under Account in Settings, with "Contact support to change" beneath them. On iPhone and on Android, tapping Email in Settings opens this page.
Ask for a change
- Sign in to ChatPEP, then go to Contact support.
- Under What is this about?, choose Account and sign-in.
- In Message, say which detail you want changed and give the new email address or date of birth.
- Select Send message.
Because you are signed in, your request is tied to your account, and the reply goes to the email address on it.
If you can no longer sign in
Use the contact form without signing in. Put an address you can read in Email for our reply, and give the address your account uses in your message. You can also write to support@chatpep.com.
After the change
- A new email address: sign in with the new address. Sign-in codes go there from then on.
- A new date of birth: it must still show you are 18 or older. See Age requirement.
