If you or someone else is in danger right now, call your local emergency number, such as 911 in the US and Canada. ChatPEP cannot call anyone, see where you are, or send help.
Emergency numbers
- US and Canada: 911
- UK: 999
- EU: 112

If you are not sure of your local number, try 112. It works in most countries.

What ChatPEP does when a message sounds urgent
When a message describes a medical emergency, thoughts of suicide or self-harm, abuse, or an eating disorder, ChatPEP answers with resources like these before anything else. For a medical emergency, it answers with the emergency numbers above and nothing more.
No one is alerted when you send a message, so ChatPEP and its support inbox are not ways to get help in an emergency. Call the numbers above instead.
