Refunds

Section 9 of the terms of service states: "All fees are non-refundable except as expressly set forth herein or as required by applicable law."

The same section covers cancelling: "Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period."

Each request is reviewed on its own. To ask for one:

1. Go to Contact support. Sign in first, so the request is tied to your account.
2. Under What is this about?, choose Plans and billing.
3. In Message, include the date and amount of the charge and why you are asking.
4. Select Send message.

The team replies by email. A review is not a promise of a refund.

Apple handles refunds for a plan bought through the App Store, so request one from Apple. See Subscriptions bought on iPhone.

Google Play handles refunds for a plan bought through Google Play, so request one from Google Play first. If Google Play directs you to ChatPEP, ask for a review as above. See Subscriptions bought on Android.

Cancelling stops your next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged again. See Manage or cancel a subscription.

Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought on the web at once and does not issue a refund. If you want to ask for a refund, contact support before you delete your account.
